Spring is here and it’s the perfect time to get outside with your pup! March is packed with exciting dog-friendly events around Sacramento including free training sessions, a grand opening celebration and more. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your dog’s obedience, socialize with other dog owners, or explore new pet-friendly businesses, there’s something for everyone this month.
Join Pragmatik Canines for “Training at the Park” – Every Sunday at 10 AM!
We’re excited to invite you to Training at the Park, a free dog training meetup hosted by Pragmatik Canines every Sunday at 10 AM at Phoenix Dog Park in Fair Oaks, CA. This is a great opportunity for dog owners to work on leash manners, basic obedience and socialization in a fun and relaxed environment.
While the class is free, we are working toward a goal of raising $1,000 by the end of the year through dontations to support our training programs. Any contributions are greatly appreciated and help us continue to offer valuable resources to the dog-loving community.

Grand Opening of Pet Evolution – March 22, 2025
Another exciting event this month is the Grand Opening of Pet Evolution in Folsom, CA on Saturday, March 22! We’ll be there alongside other dog professionals for a fun-filled day of training, grooming and healthy pet living.

Pet Evolution is a new pet wellness store focused on high-quality pet nutrition, self-wash stations and expert grooming services. Pragmatik Canines will be providing mini-training sessions and answer any training questions you have. Come meet us and explore all the amazing services Pet Evolution has to offer!

1. Shamrock’n Dog Walk – March 16, 2025
📍 Location: William Land Park, Sacramento, CA
⏰ Time: 9 AM – 12 PM
🐾 Details: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your pup on a festive 2-mile dog walk through William Land Park. There will be pet-friendly vendors, costume contests and prizes for the best-dressed dogs!
2. Doggy Social & Yappy Hour – March 29, 2025
📍 Location: Track 7 Brewing Co., Natomas, CA
⏰ Time: 3 PM – 6 PM
🐶 Details: Grab a cold drink and let your pup socialize at this dog-friendly happy hour! Track 7 will have special dog treats and a portion of the proceeds will support local rescues.
